Struck from 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver.
Limited worldwide mintage of just 10,000 coins.
Each coin arrives housed in an individual protective capsule.
Obverse displays a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, accompanied by the year of issue, metal purity, weight, country of issue, and the inscription “Middle Earth.”
Reverse depicts Boromir clutching his shattered blade, with the inscription “THE BLADE THAT CUT THE RING FROM SAURON’S HAND” set within the design. Encircling the rim are the legends “The Fellowship of the Ring” and “20th Anniversary.”
Issued as legal tender and guaranteed by the New Zealand government.
