His hunger is insatiable—already clutching a terrified cow for his next meal, yet clearly intent on further destruction across his frozen homeland.
The reverse features the legendary Yggdrasil, the World Tree, central to Norse mythology as the connection between the Nine Worlds. Masterfully depicted, its sprawling branches and roots teem with life: a stag stretches upward to graze its leaves, a serpent slithers along the base, and a raven perches watchfully among the branches.
