Obverse
 
The obverse features two wolves emerging from within the carcasses of the familiar political mascots—the donkey and the elephant—symbolizing hidden intent beneath familiar institutions. The figures stand atop the steps of the United States Capitol, reinforcing the round’s commentary on power and governance.
 
Along the upper rim appears the inscription “DECIPERE,” underscoring the theme of deception and warning against appearances that mask underlying motives.
 
Reverse
 
The reverse presents the Awakening Series’ signature design: an all-seeing eye above a pyramid, inspired by imagery associated with the Eye of Providence.
